LAURA JOSEPHER - BIO
New York based theatre director Laura Josepher has
been directing professionally for the past ten years. Her most recent
directing credits include DATING GAMES for Winged Angel
Productions at the Theatre Row Studio Theatre, NY and The Elephant Theatre
in L.A., DIRTY BLONDE at Stages Repertory Theatre in
Houston, ANNA CHRISTIE at Gallery Players, SUCCESSFUL
STRATEGIES for Lilli Theatreworks, THE TURN OF THE
SCREW and I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE at
Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston, TRAIL OF TEARS and
THE UGLY DUCKLING for GMT Productions (tour), ASH
WEDNESDAY for the Harbor Theatre, THE GIRL WHO SAID
YES TO THE GUY IN THE BROWN SUBARU at the Samuel Beckett, HUGHIE
at Provincetown Rep. For Rattlestick Productions: WINNING
and CAR POOL; For Quisisana: LA BOHEME,
COSI FAN TUTTE, HANSEL AND GRETEL, DIE FLEDERMAUS,

(Michael Greif, Director) at Classic Stage Company, and Laurie

by Ms. Anderson and Anne Bogart). Laura has a Master of Arts in Educational
Theatre, and a Bachelor of Music, both from New York University. She
is an Equity stage manager, a member of Harbor Theatre, the Lincoln
Center Directors Lab, the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation's
Artist Action Committee, and an Associate member of the Society of Stage
Directors and Choreographers. She lives in New York City with her husband,
Juan Brea, and daughters Chelsea and Sadie.
